Job Description:

Labor Temps, a dynamic and growing staffing company providing commercial staffing services is recruiting for On-Site Staffing Coordinators.  We are recruiting On-Site Staffing Coordinators for our clients in Chicago and the Chicago suburbs.  The On-site Staffing Coordinator is responsible for the day to day management of an hourly workforce in a manufacturing environment.  The goal of the On-site Staffing Coordinator is to ensure that the client is attaining business expectations.

The successful On-Site Staffing Coordinator candidate must have the following skills and abilities:

  • Must be Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Demonstrate integrity, credibility and flexibility continuously so as to motivate others to do the same.
  • Training abilities to ensure that all personnel are properly trained in GMP procedures, good documentation practices and regulatory matters.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and Outlook
  • On-Site Coordinator candidates must be flexible with work schedules
  • Minimum of 2-4 years working in a manufacturing environment

Job Title: Bilingual Recruiting Coordinator

Job Description:

The Recruiter Intern provides recruiting support to our daily operation activities and assist in contacting applicants, pre-screening candidates, scheduling orientations, conducting new hire orientations. This Internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills she or he may have acquired in school related to his or her particular areas of interest, and apply them in a professional setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in contact candidates from online sources via telephone and email.
  • Assists with pre-screens candidates contacted via standard questionnaire.
  • Assists with sets up appointments for candidates to come in for orientation.
  • Tracks all contact with online sourced candidates and conversion of candidates to employees.
  • Assists with Call-em All campaigns and mass email campaigns to candidates
  • Assists with new hire orientations as needed for temporary employees
  • Checks voicemail daily and throughout the day as needed.
  • Meets and greets candidates in a professional manner.
  • Assists with new hire paperwork is fully completed ( includes electronic I-9, complete tax credit package AKA 8850s).
  • Conducts data entry of application information and updates into recruiting software or database
  • Issue employee IDs.
  • Assists with or prepares internal and external job advertisement and web postings
  • Proactive coordination and follow up with recruitment channels
  • Assists with or prepare reports weekly and when required to on recruitment progress to Management
  • Assists with or conducts references and background checks and aptitude test as required per client
  • Assists with or recruit for open positions as needed.
  • Will perform any other duties deemed necessary and appropriate by the General Manager.

Education/Experience: Applicants should be Freshman, Sophomore or Junior level with a major in a related field with interest and aptitude to work in Recruiting/ HR or Business management/administrative fields.

Demonstrates professional verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of customer service principles

Language Skills:

Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

Extremely detail-oriented, strong work ethic and highly self-motivated, quick learner; ability to apply skills and past experiences in new situations, ability to work independently. Strong time and project management skills, analytical with creative problem-solving and effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Computer Literacy: Must be able to use all aspects of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, stoop and bend kneel or crouch. Frequently is required to use hands to pull, push, file, and write etc. Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs.
